The report examines the issues/factors impacting on the industry workforce and the associated supply and demand for skills. It also focuses on identifying existing and predicting areas of high occupation/skill demand in the near and medium term. The report relies primarily on important issues/factors identified by electrotechnology employers during the NECA held workshops. These issues have then been thoroughly researched for pertinent scholarly studies to allow for a more complete picture. Specific occupations and skills identified as being in demand are listed with additional information outlined in key findings and conclusions.
