This report provides explanatory notes and advice on employability skills for School Based Apprentices. The report was prepared for Blended Learning International and the Queanbeyan Australian Technical College. It provides information on employability skills, what they are and where they came from. A framework and an endorsed approach are presented, including content and suggested practices for embedding employability skills into curriculum. Assessment, reporting and recording procedures are explained. Advice is given on the inclusion of personal attributes as part of a formal employability skills curriculum., including delivery strategies, assessment practices and recording/reporting methods for personal attributes.
